Curriculum/Activities

It is so important for children to have consistency with a routine each day; we have a set schedule that we will try to follow closely. Though each day is a new day and anything can happen at any time, the schedule does allow for flexibility as needed.

SCHEDULE

· 7:00 – 8:00 Arrival Time – Self Selected Activities and Educational T.V.

· 8:00 – 8:30 Breakfast

· 8:30 – 9:00 Music/Dance/Rhythm

· 9:00 – 9:30 Circle Time

· 9:30 – 10:00 Curriculum based Learning Centers

· 10:00 – 10:15 A.M. Snack

· 10:15 -10:30 Diapers and Clean Up

· 10:30 – 11:00 Outdoor Physical Play (weather permitting)

· 11:00 – 11:30 Curriculum (Arts and Crafts)

· 11:30 – 12:00 Fine Motor Skills (coloring, writing, drawing, etc.)

· 12:00 – 12:30 Lunch

· 12:30 – 12:45 Diapers, Clean Up and Prepare for Nap

· 12:45 – 1:00 Story time

· 1:00 – 3:00 Naptime

· 3:00 – 3:30 Wake up and Diapers

· 3:30 – 4:00 P.M. Snack

· 4:00 – 4:30 Outdoor Physical Play (weather permitting)

· 4:30 – 5:00 Music/Dance/Rhythm

· 5:00 – 6:00 Departure - Individual Play and Educational T.V.

I teach the Mother Goose Time (mothergoosetime.com) curriculum which incorporates foundational skills such as; letters, shapes, colors, numbers, name writing, story time, singing, cooking, science, sign language, and Spanish. I will focus on the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of your child. Children will have the opportunity to participate in self-selected center activities and large group structured activities.

Most importantly, we will have FUN!
